Refurbishment of listed building for children with emotional and behavioural difficulties. The brief was to create a new facility to meet the needs of the most vulnerable children in the borough of Hammersmith and Fulham. It houses children who are unable to cope in mainstream primary schools, and are therefore excluded, due to their behavioural, social and emotional difficulties. The students are aged between 4-9 years old. The brief was to co-locate the unit on the Langford Primary School site (utilising the listed old Montessori nursery building on the site).
Civic Trust Award 2011. Features included mixed mode natural ventilation and low energy LED lighting.
